Quality control at the factory
A component that fails on your assembly line costs far more than one rejected in Shenzhen. We inspect every production batch in China before it is packed, and you see the report before anything ships.
Single sampling, general inspection level II, to ISO 2859-1: AQL 2.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects, unless your drawing specifies tighter limits.
| Batch 281 to 500 | 50 samples; accept at 3 major defects, reject at 4 |
|---|---|
| Batch 501 to 1,200 | 80 samples; accept at 5, reject at 6 |
| Batch 1,201 to 3,200 | 125 samples; accept at 7, reject at 8 |
- 01
Supplier audit
Business licence, export record, production lines and test equipment are checked before the first order and again every 12 months.
- 02
Approved sample
A golden sample is agreed with you and kept at the factory. Every batch is compared with it: dimensions, markings, connector type, firmware version.
- 03
In-production check
For runs longer than two weeks we check the line part-way through, so a drift in tolerances or a substituted component is caught early.
- 04
Pre-shipment inspection
Random cartons are opened and samples drawn to ISO 2859-1. Electronics are powered up and tested; housings are checked against their IP rating; counts and labels are verified line by line.
- 05
Packing and labelling
Carton strength, moisture protection and ESD packaging for boards are checked. Each carton is numbered and photographed with its contents.
- 06
Report and release
You receive the report with photographs and test results within 24 hours. Goods are collected only after you accept it; a failed batch is reworked or replaced at the supplier's cost.
